I thought that one day I’d be an English teacher but God had other plans for me and I ended up in radio advertising. It turned out to be a surprisingly good fit, as I’ve spent the last 50 years of my life selling, writing, and producing radio advertising campaigns for local advertisers and radio stations across the country.
When I’m not working, I enjoy photography, food, and traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest with my bride of 50 years (and counting). We especially love the Oregon coast.

I strive for accuracy and efficiency in doing the bookkeeping and processing customers’ orders. Until a few years ago, I also designed and maintained our website. I find there’s a special satisfaction and blessing in working together as a family.
In addition to GBS, I enjoy doing volunteer work for our local hospital, as well as gardening, scrapbooking, and reading. I also enjoy traveling with my husband Rod, especially to the Oregon coast (Newport, Oregon is our happy place) and being close to nature.
The newest addition to our family is Charlie, a chocolate Labrador retriever, who capitalizes on his adorable good looks. His nickname, “Charlie Underfoot,” is well-deserved.

I love to strategize with my customers, helping them find new and effective ways to add to their stations’ monthly billing.
I’m blessed to live in the panhandle of Idaho, surrounded by mountains, trees, and lakes. In addition to working for GBS, I volunteer at a local faith-based pregnancy care center. I enjoy taking road trips with my husband Jerry and our border collies; other pastimes include reading, cooking, and spending time with friends from church.
The mascots of the North Idaho branch of GBS are Logan, Garnet, and Opal. Logan was our first border collie; my husband Jerry got him when we were dating. Shortly after we married, we added Garnet to our family, and now we have Opal, their daughter. The three of them bring joy into our lives and mud onto our floors.

I’ve always enjoyed helping people, so providing excellent customer service for our clients brings me great pleasure! I love to learn and create; researching and writing new features for our campaigns provides much satisfaction. I couldn’t ask for better bosses or coworkers than my family – I feel blessed to be part of this operation for so many years.
My hobbies include cooking and journaling; I also enjoy entertaining, road trips, and photography.
My Goldador (Golden Retriever-Labrador Retriever mix) Sunshine has been my loyal companion for almost five years. She loves snow, squeaky toys, and chicken jerky. Here she’s flashing her signature grin, which she wields skillfully to get what she wants from her mom.
